STOVE: EtaPackLite

The newest and lightest EtaPower stove weighs less and saves fuel while cooking for two

Smaller, lighter, and just as efficient as the Primus EtaPower MultiFuel and EtaPower EasyFuel stoves, the EtaPackLite was designed to provide ample cook capacity for two people while remaining compact for multiple days anywhere space and weight savings are essential.

“Fuel efficiency is a high priority in our design process, and we are finding that efficiency is resonating well with an outdoor community that is becoming more environmentally conscious every day,” said John Smithbaker, president of the Brunton Outdoor Group, US importer of Primus.

Running on pressurized LP gas and rated at 80% efficiency- meaning 80% of the heat created goes directly to warming dinner and not the environment- the EtaPackLite is among the most fuel-efficient camp stoves on the market. To compare, the average camp stove operates between 40% and 50% efficiency.

The EtaPackLite weighs 21 ounces and comes as a complete cook system, including a stove base with burner, wind screen, serving bowl, and a 1.2 liter pot with a lid that doubles as a colander. All components, including a 100-gram fuel cartridge, nest perfectly in the pot. The EtaPackLite will boil a liter of water in about 2.5 minutes and retails for $120.

The EtaPackLite boasts 100% fuel efficiency thanks to its inclusion in the Primus Carbon Offset program.
